Help for “witches' children”, refugees and locals in Jos, Plateau
In regions characterized by extreme poverty and suffering, people often look for someone to blame. Tragically, in central and southern Nigeria, the accusations often fall on the very youngest: children accused of witchcraft - their fate is often cruel: torture, expulsion and even death.
Our aim is to actively protect these children. We educate, carry out prevention work and work to further develop children's homes. This initiative is one of two pillars of our work. We also build sustainable wells and support refugees from northern Nigeria.
We, Victoria and Patrick Rosu, are a married couple from Salzburg with a fervent desire: We want to serve the people in Nigeria in their need for 2 years. Our faith in Jesus is what motivates and guides us. With God's help, we want to do our best to bring hope and help where it is needed.
